As born-again believers we have a mandate over our lives to make disciples. Making disciples is the natural overflow of being a disciple or follower of Jesus; one that is so in love with and in awe of Him that it spills out of his or her life to share that love in such a way as to invest and reproduce the life of Jesus in another person. Jesus is our best model of making disciples and shows us his method clearly in the scriptures. As we truly follow Jesus and how he did it, we can make disciples. Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19-20 NIV “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 4:19 KJV “And he said unto them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
