The Word teaches us that we don’t contend with “flesh and blood” but with principalities and powers, and wicked spirits in the heavenly realms—real demonic powers set on bringing destruction. How we pick and how we fight our battles determines the final outcome. Having weapons in this confrontation is important and how we deploy them even more important! As believers, we must do the same, wresting control of the crises from the enemy using the authority Jesus has given us.
