Esau sold his birthright for a pot of lentil stew. Today we might think, “How stupid to sell out so cheap.” However, as believers, we have a birthright on an eternal scale. We too can fall short of the grace of God and allow bitterness to take root in our lives. True repentance will bring healing and restoration. Only then, can we pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
