He Led the Captives and Gave Gifts

Although the Gifts and Ministries of the Holy Spirit are clearly evident throughout the Scriptures, it seems that much of modern Christianity has ignored, misunderstood, neglected, and even discredited these powerful gifts. Whole denominations have taught that they are not for today while others have condemned those who claim and use these gifts as being of the devil. New Testament Scripture exhorts that we should not be ignorant of these gifts, but rather we should use them effectively in ministering the Gospel to our generation. These were the gifts from heaven that launched the New Testament Church.
