At his hometown synagogue, Jesus announced “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” (Luke 4:21) He was referring to His mission to destroy the effects of sin plaguing the human race and releasing freedom of every kind of oppression and restoration to wholeness. With this declaration, He made healing and deliverance immediately available to every believer. The waiting across many millennia had ended. Healing is for today, not tomorrow.
