It has been said, “There is so much in prayer that every one of us could learn if we would keep an open heart to the Word and the Spirit of God.” In both the Old and New Testament God’s people lifted their voices in corporate prayer, praising and exalting the God who created heaven and earth. While some folks prefer quiet solitude in prayer saying God is not hard of hearing, it’s undeniable that this kind of prayer preceded some amazing supernatural manifestations and events. In the days ahead, it’s important that we not neglect the various types of prayer available to us including strong united prayer.
