In this series we are examining characters, who “through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” Jesus was a master craftsman in the arena of disciple-making. From the small group of 12, men and women arose until entire regions and ultimately nations were shaken and changed through the power of the Gospel. Throughout the ages, men and women have embraced the instruction Paul gave to his disciple Timothy, “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” Will you be a reliable, faithful person and engage in the disciple-making process?
