Some have derided it as the “Prosperity Gospel”. What is God’s true heart and intention concerning the prosperity of His people? The Apostle John wrote, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 2 NKJV) Though other translations seem to spiritualize that verse, His man prospering in all things was in God’s plan since creation.
