We, each of us, have names that we like or dislike, for a variety of reasons. Some sound nice, others remind us of characteristics of someone by that name. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous man runs to it and is safe.” Knowing and understanding the meaning of the names of God reveals how wonderful, majestic, powerful, and loving He is. We should be inspired and filled with faith to live in victory as His children. There is power in the Name!
