While most Americans celebrate the day, some still debate the question, “Should Christians remain silent and disengaged from the political chaos that seems to prevail?” Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. For this, the founding fathers, at considerable risk, pledged to each other their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. Perfect they were not, they were men like many others of their time. Viewed as turncoats and traitors by their mother country of England, they took a vision and turned it into a country. Will this generation perpetuate the vision?
