Man can pick and appoint, but God chooses and anoints. We can try to promote ourselves or look to others for acclaim or affirmation, but the Word says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Following His order is far better than fooling with His plans and purposes for our lives. (Jude 20-21) But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
