God is trying to get something to you—not from you! So many see tithing and bringing offerings as legalistic and archaic. But it is not an antiquated unnecessary practice nor is it just Christian duty. God wants us to have a heart like Mary who left a legacy of “alabaster extravagance”. Jesus said her gift would be a memorial to her wherever the Gospel is preached. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
