Today on the traditional celebration of Jesus Triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, we are also celebrating Communion. This is the greatest and most powerful sacrament entailing forgiveness of sin, healing for the body, and eternal redemption. This memorial enshrines His body broken for us and the new covenant ratified with His blood. The apostle Peter described it this way, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 ESV) We invite our podcast listeners to join us as full partakers and partners in the new and better covenant, established by Jesus on better promises.
