Why do we teach faith? Four places in the Bible, we find the statement, “The just shall live by faith.” In the Old Testament this statement is placed in the context of living a live guided by clear vision. The New Testament writers pick up this statement, relating it not only to our personal salvation through faith in Christ, but also to our responsibility towards the lost for their salvation. Finally spiritual growth and stability require living by faith. Though stepping out into the unknown can be a bit unnerving, our resolute trust in Jesus will carry us through.
